Vehicle Air Conditioning Repair

A car air conditioning system keeps your vehicle cool and comfortable on hot days. It works much like your refrigerator at home. The system uses a special fluid called refrigerant that circulates through a closed loop of components to result in blowing cold air around your vehicle.

First, the refrigerant starts in the evaporator, which is like a mini radiator located inside your car. Hot air from inside the car blows over the evaporator’s cold coils, cooling the air down. This cooled air is then blown into your car’s interior.

The refrigerant, now warmed up, moves to the compressor. The compressor is like the heart of the system. It squeezes the refrigerant, raising its temperature and pressure. This hot, pressurised gas then flows to the condenser, which is usually located at the front of your car.

In the condenser, the hot gas releases its heat to the outside air. As it cools, it turns back into a liquid. This liquid refrigerant returns to the evaporator, and the air con cycle begins again.

In simple terms, the air conditioning system removes heat from inside your car and releases it outside, releasing refreshing cool air to keep your car cool inside. Regular maintenance, like checking for leaks and ensuring proper lubricant and refrigerant levels, helps keep the system working effectively and your vehicle air conditioning system producing cold air efficiently.
